A car-care facility sited near Ginkakuji, Kyoto. The design negotiates between the utilitarian demands of the program and the historic character of the surrounding district — restraint in form, precision in detail.
銀閣寺近傍に位置するカーケア施設。機能的な要求と歴史的な地域文脈という、相反するふたつの条件を意識しながら、形を抑制しディテールに精度をもたせることで、場所に静かに馴染む建築を目指しています。
